Something amazing is going on in Burma (or as the current government calls it, Myanmar). Led by the courageous and revered Buddhist monks, the people of Burma have risen up in peaceful protest to their military government to demand a chance for democracy. The government has responded with crackdowns, arrests, a shutdown of Internet access, and who knows what else.
