So far, I'm getting a lot of value and enjoyment out of it. I'm sure that will go up and down based on time and so on. I'm finding it very valuable depending on who is twittering - I've seen a number of interesting links and I'm getting breaking news much quicker than any other source. I've also made contact with at least one Terracotta user so far which is great.

I find I minimize the Twitter client and have all notifications turned off for long stretches then just catch up every couple hrs, which really doesn't impact my time much.

Simply loved your title for commenting. I Twit.
I am finding people increasingly flocking towards twitter. Bloggers were the one who formed the first huge lot for marketing their blogs. But it didn't impress me a lot since I find it time wasting rather than spending time reading useful stuff (my feeds)

Well now that you have succumbed to the "twitter pressure" I may as well ask you. Do you really find it useful in terms of value addition? Or you simply chose it for some promotion or loosening your feet. :)
