Finally at JavaOne
It was a long morning getting to San Francisco for me - up at 3:45 AM to catch the early flight through Dallas. Which of course just spent 2 hrs circling over the resident thunderstorms. Anyhow I eventually made it and have been wandering around getting all checked in and familiar. This is my first time at JavaOne and Moscone but I think I’ve got the lay of the land now.
When I checked in at the speaker desk, the woman said, “wow lot of people registered for your talk”. Thanks, wasn’t nervous about it before! I think I finished my final tweaks to the slides on the plane but might do a few more edits tonight.
I talked a room monitor into letting me poke my head into the room I’m doing my session in while someone else was setting up - looks big but I feel better now that I can visualize it.
I’ll be blogging as often as I can - right now standing at a kiosk!
