A new unit of measure

maven (mā’vən) n.

  1. A unit of time equal to the length of the first mvn call of the day. The first call typically will involve downloading new snapshot versions of many external dependent jars from the Internet. I’m going across the street to get some coffee and a muffin – back in a maven.
